How much does a winch-out cost?
Winch-out service starts at $125. Recovery pricing varies more than any other service we offer, because a car six inches off the shoulder and a car nose-down in a ditch fifty feet from the road are completely different jobs. Describe it and we'll price the actual situation.
Why isn't winch-out a flat rate?
Because the work isn't. Depth, angle, ground conditions, vehicle weight and the number of lines needed all change how long it takes and what equipment comes out. Anyone quoting a flat $75 over the phone hasn't seen your vehicle.
Will you damage my car pulling it out?
Recovery is done from proper attachment points with the right rigging. Experience is the difference here — hooking a vehicle in the wrong spot is exactly how bumpers and frames get pulled apart.
Do I have to be towed afterward?
Usually not. If the vehicle is undamaged and drivable once it's back on the road, you drive away and there's no tow charge.
What should I tell you when I call?
Where you are, what you're driving, how far off the road it is, how deep it's sitting, and what the ground is like. That's what lets us bring the right gear the first time.
Do you run recoveries during snowstorms?
