Why We Don't Advertise a Flat Rate
The honest version.
A flat rate is either padded or it isn't real
If a company advertises one price for every tow, that price has to cover the worst job they might get. Everyone with an easy job overpays to subsidize it. The alternative is worse: the number was never real, and it changes once the truck is on scene and your car is already hooked up.
Winch-outs vary the most
A car six inches off the shoulder and a car nose-down in a ditch fifty feet from the road are completely different jobs. Depth, angle, ground conditions, vehicle weight and the number of winch lines all change the work. That's why winch-out starts at $125 rather than being quoted flat over the phone.
We're not trying to be the cheapest
There is always somebody quoting less. What we offer is a real number before dispatch, a driver with over 20 years of experience loading vehicles, and a bill that matches the quote. Fair, straightforward and dependable beats cheap when your vehicle is on the line.
Sometimes the answer is that you don't need us
If it's a dead battery, an $85 jump start beats a tow and we'll say so. If a recovery puts your car back on the road undamaged, you drive away and there's no tow charge. We'd rather do the smaller job honestly than the bigger job you didn't need.

Why aren't your prices flat rates?
Because the work isn't the same every time. A tow four blocks and a tow across two counties cost different amounts, and a car sitting in a driveway is a different job than one nose-down in a ditch. A flat rate advertised online is either padded to cover the worst case or it changes once the driver arrives. We'd rather quote the actual job.
Do you charge by the mile?
Distance is part of what sets the price on longer tows, along with the vehicle and the pickup. Rather than have you do math on the phone, tell us where the vehicle is and where it's going and we'll give you the total.
Do prices go up at night or on weekends?
Our starting prices are the same around the clock. What moves the final number is distance, vehicle type and how difficult the vehicle is to reach — not the hour.
What can make the price higher than the starting price?
Longer distances, larger or heavier vehicles, a vehicle that won't roll or steer, difficult pickup locations like parking garages, alleys or accident scenes, bad road conditions, and jobs that need extra equipment or extra time on scene.
Can I get a price by text?
